Bengaluru-based start-up starts fuel delivery services

The trend of ordering products for home delivery has caught up with India in a huge way. Almost everything can be home delivered in the current situation. A Bengaluru-based start-up called ANB Fuel Pvt. Ltd has started a unique service of delivering fuel to home. The service is known as ‘My Petrol Pump’ and is available in a few selected areas of the city.

Customers can order fuel from the company on call or online. Currently, the start-up only delivers diesel. The prices are same as the daily prices of fuel at the fuel station. However, the service charges Rs. 99 extra for up to 100 litres of fuel. Beyond 100 litres, there is a charge of Rs. 1 per litre over the fuel price.
The services are currently offered in HSR Layout, Koramangla, Bellandur, BTM & Bomanahalli and the adjacent areas. The company also allows pre-booking for fuel delivery and the schedule can be set by calling the phone number or logging onto the company website. The start-up is also working to develop apps for Android and iOS. The service currently allows customers to pay by cash or by cards through POS (point of sale) machines at the time of delivery.
My Petrol Pump says that they do not stock the fuel to avoid wastage. The fuel is bought only when an order is placed. The start-up also follows strict quality assurance program to make sure that the fuel is not adulterated during the transportation. Customers who want to cancel can do so and there is no cancellation charge on the same if the delivery process has not begin.
